Rapid testing for COVID-19 is now available at the John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana, California, Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian officials said Jan. 18.
“As cases continue to rise here in Orange County and across the nation, it’s important that our community has access to COVID-19 testing,” Robert T. Braithwaite, Hoag president and chief executive, said in a release. “We are proud to partner with John Wayne Airport to offer this convenient and accessible rapid testing option in the heart of Orange County.”

Testing is available in the airport’s Terminal B, on the departure level, prior to the security checkpoint. It’s available to both travelers and the community. Results are available within 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, Hoag’s Fly Well Clinic at John Wayne Airport is expected to open this spring. The clinic will provide free flu shots and screenings, treatment for cold and flu symptoms, prescriptions, nutrition, and other tips for travelers passing through the airport. It will also offer on-demand telehealth consultations.

It will be located past the security checkpoint in Terminal B.

Rapid tests, which cost $139, are available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
