CORONA DEL MAR, Calif.—About a thousand runners participated in the 39th annual Corona del Mar (CDM) Scenic 5k on Oct. 2.

Put on by the CDM Chamber of Commerce, runners of all ages enjoyed the morning ocean mist as they competed in the 5-kilometer (3.1-mile) race.

The men’s race began around 8:00 a.m., with the women’s race taking place right afterward.

The run was canceled last year due to the CCP virus pandemic.
