LOS ANGELES—A record low temperature of 39 has been set at Los Angeles International Airport, breaking a record that was set more than 60 years ago.
The 39-degree temperature reported on Thursday, Feb. 24, breaks the previous record of 40 set in 1960.
Record low temperatures were also set in Long Beach, Camarillo, Oxnard, and Santa Maria Airport.
On Thursday, Long Beach Airport was at 39, breaking the previous record of 40 set in 1987. Camarillo Airport was at 33, matching the record low set in 2018.
Oxnard Airport was at 35, and Santa Maria Airport was at 29—both matched their own record lows.
