The woman was seen leading police on the high-speed chase before a tire deflation device disabled the vehicle she was driving, causing her to crash into another car.
The woman was then seen on helicopter video footage captured by the Texas Department of Public Safety exiting from the vehicle with one hand holding a car seat in which sat a baby.
While holding the baby, the suspect tried to carjack a vehicle but officers detained the suspect before she could get away.
The video footage was released in early September but the chase happened in mid-June along Highway 90 near Lackland Air Force Base.

State troopers told the broadcaster that Rodriguez was wanted on warrants before the chase, and that her criminal history includes convictions for felony theft, forgery, and prostitution.
She was charged with child endangerment, possession of a controlled substance, and evading arrest as a result of the chase.
The nature of the warrants wasn’t disclosed.
The baby was turned as over to Child Protective Services while Rodriguez, also known by the last name of Losiewicz, has been in jail since her arrest.
