Person Killed in Fiery Crash on 60 Freeway in Diamond Bar

DIAMOND BAR, Calif.—A person was killed May 14 during a fiery vehicle crash on the Pomona (60) Freeway in Diamond Bar, authorities said.

The crash occurred about 4:25 a.m. on the eastbound freeway, at the northbound Orange (57) Freeway, the California Highway Patrol reported.

Firefighters and paramedics dispatched to the location at 4:34 a.m. found a vehicle on fire and one person inside the vehicle, according to a county fire department dispatcher.

The fatality was pronounced dead at the scene, the highway patrol said.

Sources at the location reported that the involved vehicle was a pickup truck.
