IRVINE, Calif.—A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a truck in Irvine on Aug. 29 and police identified the man on Aug. 30.

Andres Osegueda, 23, of Aliso Viejo was injured about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Bake Parkway and Irvine Center Drive, and he died at a hospital, according to the Irvine Police Department.

According to police, Mr. Osegueda was riding a Yamaha motorcycle that collided with a GMC Canyon crew cab truck.

The truck driver, whose name was not released, remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation, police said.

“Neither drugs nor alcohol appear to be a factor in this incident,” police said in a statement.
