ANAHEIM, Calif.—A 31-year-old man was shot and killed at a 24-hour Jack-in-the-Box restaurant in Anaheim before sunrise Monday and two teenage boys were arrested.
The shooting was reported about 2 a.m. at the intersection of Brookhurst Street and Ball Road, Anaheim Police Department Sgt. Jonathan McClintock told City News Service.
Arriving officers found Carleatis Richards in the parking lot with at least one gunshot wound, McClintock said. He was rushed by ambulance to a hospital where he died.
The suspects were seen fleeing the area, were later arrested on suspicion of murder and were booked at Juvenile Hall. Their names were not released because of their ages.
