LOS ANGELES—Police are seeking the public’s help Wednesday to find the hit-and-run driver responsible for severely injuring a 63-year-old woman in the Sherman Oaks area.
The vehicle was last seen southbound on Costello Avenue and heading westbound on Davana Terrace. Police said the driver never stopped to help the woman.
Paramedics took her to a hospital with severe injuries.
“Drivers are reminded that if they become involved in a collision, they should pull over and stop as soon as it is safe to do so, notify emergency services, and remain at the scene to identify themselves,” the police department said in a statement.
The city of Los Angeles has a standing $25,000 reward offer for information that leads to a conviction in an injury hit-and-run case.
