Popular podcast host Joe Rogan on Tuesday morning said he is leaving the door open for Vice President Kamala Harris to appear on his show, just days after her opponent, former President Donald Trump, did so.

As of Tuesday, Rogan’s three-hour interview with Trump reached nearly 38 million views in three days, becoming by far the most-watched podcast interview with either Trump or Harris during the 2024 election. It was the first time that Trump had appeared on Rogan’s program.

In a post on X, Rogan said that the Harris team placed conditions on the interview, including its length.

“They offered a date for Tuesday, but I would have had to travel to her and they only wanted to do an hour,” Rogan wrote Monday on the platform. “I strongly feel the best way to do it is in the studio in Austin. My sincere wish is to just have a nice conversation and get to know her as a human being.”

Rogan said that the Harris campaign hasn’t “passed on doing the podcast.” The Epoch Times has contacted the campaign, which has not publicly responded to Rogan’s statement, for comment.

Campaign spokesperson Ian Sams told MSNBC in an interview last week that Harris would not appear on Rogan’s show.

“We talked with Rogan and his team about the podcast, unfortunately, it isn’t going to work out right now because of the scheduling of this period of the campaign,” he told MSNBC’s Chris Hayes on Oct. 24.

There had been reports earlier this month saying that Harris would sit for an interview on “The Joe Rogan Experience” in a bid to reach out to more male voters.

In a separate post on X, Rogan said that there has been “an issue with searching” for the Trump episode on YouTube. Many users and an Epoch Times reporter observed that it has been difficult to find the Trump-Rogan interview by using YouTube’s internal search.

Rogan also reposted a video from David Heinemeier Hansson, an executive with the software company 37signals, showing that a number of incorrect videos showed in his YouTube search for the Trump episode. He asked, “Would be beyond bonkers if they’re actively trying to suppress it. Must be a glitch, right?”

YouTube has not publicly commented on the claims, but a spokesman for Google told media outlets that the video “didn’t appear prominently” for searches “on Monday” and that the issue was resolved. The Epoch Times has contacted the company for comment.

The interview touched on a wide range of topics, including whether Trump is committed to bringing Robert F. Kennedy into his administration.

“Oh, I completely am,” Trump responded, but he added he and Kennedy disagreed on environmental policies. He said he’ll tell Kennedy to “focus on health, do whatever you want.”

At one point, Trump again affirmed he’s open to the idea of eliminating federal income taxes, telling Rogan, “Yeah, sure why not?” when asked by the podcast host if he was serious about it.

Trump also said, in response to Rogan’s question, that he’s “never been a believer” in theories about extraterrestrial life visiting Earth. He said he is asked constantly about what the U.S. government knows about “the people coming from space.” He said as president he was told “a lot” but he did not go into specifics.

He also maintained his stance that there was fraud during the 2020 election but stated, “If I win, this will be my last election.”

In the weeks ahead of the Nov. 5 election, Harris appeared on several podcasts and shows, including the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, CBS' “Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” ABC News’ “The View,” and Howard Stern’s radio program.
