HOLLYWOOD HILLS, Calif.—An armed home-invasion robbery in the Hollywood Hills Nov. 23 netted an estimated $1 million in property, authorities said.
The crime was reported at about 3:30 a.m. in the 3500 block of Multiview Drive, according to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD). A man and a woman were in the home at the time, and the suspects fled with unspecified property that was valued at an estimated $1 million, the police department reported.
According to broadcast reports, the male victim is a well-known social media influencer in his 20s, and he was pistol-whipped during the robbery.
Detectives from the LAPD’s Robbery-Homicide Division were investigating the crime, and few details were being released by authorities.
According to reports from the scene, three or four suspects, one of them armed with a handgun, entered the residence and confronted the occupants, who were sleeping in the home, which was described by neighbors as a rental property. The suspects reportedly fled with expensive jewelry.
