Former Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) is joining One America News (OAN), the television network announced on Dec. 10.
Gaetz, 42, will anchor his own program, dubbed “The Matt Gaetz Show,” OAN said. The show will air at 9 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday.
Gaetz said at the time that he was “fully committed to see that Donald J. Trump is the most successful President in history.”
OAN was launched in 2013 by Herring Networks. The company is owned by the Herring family, with operations in California and Washington.
Gaetz will also co-host a weekly podcast with Dan Ball, another employee at the network.
“It’s an exciting partnership that’s going to take OAN to the next level.”
Gaetz said he has sources and insights that will help him cover the Trump administration and other topics.
“We’re going to have the must-see information so that you know what’s going on with President Trump, with Congress, all around the country,” he said.
Gaetz represented Florida’s First Congressional District from 2017 to November 2024, when he stepped down shortly after winning reelection. Gaetz was born in Florida and grew up in Fort Walton Beach. He graduated from Florida State University with a bachelor’s degree before going to William & Mary Law School and earning a law degree. He was a Florida state senator before beginning to serve in Congress.
