Burglars broke into Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s $26 million mansion in Southern California and stole at least $10,000 worth of valuables, on Wednesday, Nov. 28.

According to TMZ, the former professional boxer was out of the country at the time of the robbery.
Police said in a statement that the burglary was reported on Wednesday at 3 p.m. The items allegedly stolen were “luggage, sunglasses, and accessories,” according to police.

An investigation into the burglary is still ongoing with no suspect currently available, police said.

“Because this is an active investigation, no additional details are available for release at this time,” Lieutenant Elisabeth Albanese said in the statement.

This is not the first time Mayweather’s homes have been burglarized, according to Bleacher Report.
In August 2008, an intruder broke into his Las Vegas home and stole $7 million worth of jewelry, the boxer claimed. His Las Vegas home was again burglarized in February this year when he was away in Los Angeles celebrating his 40th birthday, reported USA Today.

This is the latest case in a string of celebrity and athlete home burglaries in the Los Angeles area.

Dodgers star, Yasiel Puig, was the last celebrity to be robbed before Mayweather. According to TMZ, more than half a million dollars worth of jewelry was taken, including 3 high-end Rolex watches.

Other celebrities who were recently hit by high-stakes burglaries include Mariah Carey, Alanis Morissette, Demi Lovato, Drake, and Nicki Minaj, reported TMZ.
