The Biden administration announced on April 17 that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) will initiate a national awareness campaign to educate the public about the dangers of child sex exploitation and to prevent criminal activity.

The Know2Protect initiative is being called a “first-of-its-kind” campaign characterized by the DHS as an effort to unite public and private sector organizations in order to distribute resources to locations frequented by young people, parents, community leaders, and educators.
