Pageant of the Masters Open Casting Call
The Pageant of the Masters is looking for men, women, and children to volunteer for next summer’s production, “Art Colony: In the Company of Artists.” People of all sizes and ages are needed to be cast members in the world’s most famous presentation of “tableaux vivants,” where live subjects are dressed and painted to appear exactly as originals from famous works of art, which will then be presented in a live show for thousands of spectators.No theater experience is necessary. Pageant volunteers are also needed for behind-the-scenes roles including the wardrobe, make-up, and headdress departments, as well as cast area coordinators and refreshment servers, among other positions.

Guided by any smartphone, groups will make their way along well-known and overlooked sites of this beach town where they will solve clues and complete challenges while learning local history. Hidden gems from the hunt include the International Surfing Museum, the pier, and historic buildings hidden in plain sight.The tour requires just over one mile of walking.
