SAN FRANCISCO—A residence on 1700 Block of 22nd Avenue in San Francisco’s Sunset District suffered a three-alarm fire on the morning of Feb. 9, according to the fire department.
The San Francisco Fire Department (SFFD) reported that Search K9 teams helped find the body of an adult who died in the fire. The fire also seriously injured one civilian, injured one firefighter, and damaged three homes.
The fire was contained around 11:40 a.m., according to the San Francisco Fire Department (SFFD).
The SFFD issued evacuation orders to residents living at 1730–1750 22nd Avenue, and all others on the block were to shelter in place. The cause is under investigation, according to a Twitter post by the SFFD.
