EL CAJON, Calif.—A suspected drunken driver is accused of destroying six cars Oct. 28 in the El Cajon area of San Diego.

El Cajon Police responded to a call that a vehicle crashed into multiple parked vehicles in the 1200 block of El Cajon Boulevard just after 12:30 a.m., authorities said.

The suspected drunken driver veered off the road, hit another vehicle then went airborne and landed on top of at least six other vehicles, damaging them all, according to ABC 10.

The suspected drunken driver and passenger got out of their vehicle and left the scene, but officers caught them a short time after the incident, police said.

Both the driver and passenger were taken to the hospital with unknown injuries. The names of the suspects have not been released and police are investigating the incident.
