A driver was arrested after several cars engaged in a “sideshow” on the Bay Bridge in California that temporarily halted morning traffic, according to the California Highway Patrol, which posted a video of the alleged incident on Aug. 19.

The CHP said that officers received several calls of vehicles on the Bay Bridge “engaged in sideshow activity.”

Sideshows involve the drivers of cars doing burnouts and donuts.

In the video, three cars can be seen circling around while onlookers get out of their vehicles and record it.

The CHP posted a photo of an officer arresting the driver of the white Ford Mustang. The driver was charged with reckless driving and exhibition of speed. His car was impounded for 30 days.

It appears that the other two drivers got away before police arrived.

According to the San Francisco Chronicle, several cars suspected of being involved in the sideshow were stopped as they exited the bridge.

“Thank you to the public for calling in the crimes witnessed as well as providing us with video evidence to assist with charges filed,” the CHP said on Facebook.

Two other drivers were arrested for weaving in and out of traffic at 100 mph, the Chronicle reported.
