Just a few months after sales resumed in March, Disneyland has again frozen sales until further notice of Magic Key annual passes for its Anaheim theme park, according to a June 5 announcement.
Officials for the park didn’t say why sales were paused and did not return a request for comment.
In the past, officials have paused sales to “help protect the experience for Magic Key holders” and the value they hold by limiting them, according to a 2022 announcement.
Those who currently have the annual passes can renew them if they are within 30 days of their expiration date.
Last October, Disneyland raised the prices to $1,649 for the Inspire Key; $1,249 for the Believe Key; $849 for the Enchant Key; and $499 for the Imagine Key. Each is good for one year and allows purchasers to visit the park within a set range of dates.
During previous launches, Disneyland has paused sales of the passes just a day after they went on sale.
With the previous annual pass program, park reservations were not required. However, to reduce overcrowding the program now requires reservations, according to Disney officials.
