A Garland convenience store clerk in Texas was shot and killed during an armed robbery on Saturday, Jan. 20, according to police.
Police are appealing to the public for information after 35-year-old Manish Panday was shot dead by two men wearing hoodies, reported Dallas News. The suspects were attempting to rob the convenience store in the 4700 block of Broadway Boulevard with handguns.
Detectives released screenshots of security video showing the struggle between Panday and the two suspects, according to a Jan. 21 police statement.
The suspects are described as black men, thinly-built, one approximately 6 feet tall, and the other 5 foot 9 inches tall.
Police are currently investigating the robbery and will release further information as it becomes available.
