Republicans were positive about a bipartisan April 12 meeting on infrastructure led by President Joe Biden, but doubts still linger about key provisions in the plan, such as allocating $400 billion for the care of the elderly and disabled.

Democrats are trying to convince GOP legislators to swing behind Biden’s proposal, which is currently at $2.3 trillion.
