ALTADENA, Calif.—Authorities sought the public’s assistance Wednesday in locating an at-risk 94-year-old man from Altadena who resides in a fire zone and was reported missing after being in contact with friends and family Tuesday evening.
Edwin Cridlind was last seen Tuesday in the 200 block of Wapello Street and contacted by friends and family around 7:30 p.m., according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Cridlind was described as a 6-foot-tall white man weighing 172 pounds with white hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a flannel, a white shirt and pajama pants.
Sheriff’s officials said Cridlind resides in one of the Eaton Fire zones, and his family is growing concerned about his well-being.
