Hot San Jose Nights will host its annual Airport Day on Sept. 8, at Reid-Hillview Airport featuring more than 100 classic cars, dozens of static airplanes and a celebration of S.T.E.A.M., an acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering, Aviation and Math education.
The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission and parking are free. The S.T.E.A.M. festival will include robotics teams, school displays and awards of excellence. Also on display will be flight simulators with instructors, antique autos and military tanks available to ride. There also will be musical entertainment and food trucks.
Canned food donations will be collected for Second Harvest Food Bank.
