Residents can get free health checkups, dental fillings, eye exams, and flu shots at the Anaheim Health Fair to be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Nov. 12 and 13 at the Anaheim Convention Center.
“We know how challenging access to healthcare can be, which is why more than 150 doctors, healthcare professionals and community members join together to make this event possible,” the city’s website reads.
The Anaheim Health Fair, now in its 16th year, will provide free health services to more than 1,000 people, the city estimated.
Health services available at the fair will include physicals, electrocardiograms, hearing tests, diabetes, and cholesterol testing, mammograms and pap smears, dental fillings and extractions, eye exams and prescription glasses made onsite, and flu shots and vaccines.
This year’s event will also include a citizenship fair to provide anyone who wants to become a U.S. citizen with application help, legal advice, and other help. Those who are just getting started or those with applications underway are encouraged to attend.
“Anyone who wants to apply for citizenship, get legal advice or get more information on the process is encouraged to attend,” according to the city.
The citizenship fair will be Nov. 12 at the convention center. Appointments times are 9 a.m., 11 a.m., and 1 p.m.
Free parking will be available off West Street, south of Katella Avenue.
