The suspect, 41-year-old John Christopher Cosso, is a white male standing at 5 feet 11 inches, weighing 190 pounds, who has brown hair and hazel eyes.

He has a shaved head and tattoos on his face, officials said.

He was last seen driving a 2012 Black Ford Fusion with a California license plate 8BDY654.

ABC7 reported that a person of interest, Renee Quijada, has been identified in connection with the abduction.
“Everybody who knows him knows he’s an angel. He’s perfect. He’s sweet, he’s kind, he’s sensitive, he’s smart,” Jayce’s mother, Valente, told CBS San Francisco. “We just want him to come home.”

She alleged that John Cosso and a group of men used pepper spray to force their way into her home. She tried to drive away with her son, but they blocked her and took the boy, according to the CBS report.
