The crime occurred about 6:40 p.m. Monday in the 600 block of North Doheny Drive, according to the Beverly Hills Police Department.
“The victims were walking when confronted and forced at gunpoint to give their watches to the suspects,” police said in a statement. “Prior to police arrival, the suspects drove away in a grey Chevrolet sedan. A license plate was obtained, and officers continued to search for the vehicle.”
About two hours later, officers located the suspect vehicle near Rodeo Drive and Dayton Way, police said.
“Officers responded to the area ... and initiated a traffic stop nearby,” police said. “The investigation led to the arrest of the four occupants and the recovery of two handguns and watches believed to be from the earlier robbery.”
According to police, those arrested were: Ziona Famoso, an 18-year-old Los Angeles woman; Cameron White, an 18-year-old Los Angeles man; Ion Williams, a 19-year-old Los Angeles man; and a 17-year-old boy whose name was not released. The adult suspects were booked on suspicion of robbery and criminal conspiracy, and bail was set at $100,000 bail each. It was unclear what charges the boy might face.
