A winning $31 million Mega Millions jackpot ticket for Tuesday night’s drawing was sold at a grocery store in Belchertown, Massachusetts. The cash option on the prize is $16.3 million if the winner wants to take the money in a lump sum.
The winning numbers from the Jan. 24 Mega Millions drawing were: 33-41-47-50-62, Mega Ball: 20.
Tuesday’s winner is the fourth Mega Millions jackpot won in Massachusetts since 2002, when the game expanded and its name was changed from The Big Game to Mega Millions, the Lottery said.
