Two females and a male in their early 20s were found dead inside a car’s trunk in San Diego, California on Aug. 11, said the San Diego Police Department.
The officers broke open the car and found three people in their late teens or early 20s dead inside.
The San Diego Police Department is yet to confirm the race of the deceased because of the condition in which the bodies were found.
Stove Fire Burns Husband and Wife
In another incident in Bay Terraces, a couple suffered severe burns in a house fire on Sunday.Authorities told the local media that the couple’s burns are second-degree or possibly third-degree. The wife suffered more burns than the husband while trying to put out the flames.
“Eventually, there was water used from a bathroom,” San Diego police Lt. Mike Ramsay told the station, according to NBC7 News.
“But due to whatever was used (by the husband) part of the flash, part of the fire, his clothing caught on fire,” said Ramsay.
Man Shot in Leg in Down Town San Diego
A 53-year-old man was shot in his leg in downtown San Diego on Sunday.The police said two men were arguing over a woman when one of them pulled a gun and shot twice. One of the bullets hit a victim who was walking down the road southbound on Sixth Avenue, said San Diego police Officer John Buttle.
4 Hurt in a Gang Shootout
In a suspected gang shootout between two gangs in southeast San Diego, four people were shot on Sunday night.The injured included a 30-year-old man whose injuries were life-threatening. San Diego police Officer John Buttle said on Monday the shooting happened on Logan Avenue near Euclid Avenue in the Lincoln Park neighborhood at around 11:20 p.m.
There is no update on the condition of the gravely injured 30-year-old. Police said the other three injured included a 56-year-old who suffered various gunshots to his legs, a 30-year-old shot in his neck and face and a 19-year-old shot in the chest.
The shooting incident is under investigation by gang detectives.
