ANAHEIM, Calif.—A man and a woman were struck and killed by a vehicle in Anaheim, authorities said May 13.

The collision was reported at approximately 8:30 p.m. Friday in the 1000 block of South Anaheim Boulevard, Sgt. Jonathan McClintock of the Anaheim Police Department told City News Service.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. Paramedics rushed the woman to a hospital, where she later died from her injuries, McClintock said.

The motorist driving the vehicle stayed at the scene to cooperate with the police. Alcohol and drugs did not contribute to the crash, police said.
