LOS ANGELES—Two men are in custody Thursday in connection with the death of a 28-year-old man found in the lake at MacArthur Park.
Arrests were made but the suspects have not been booked, the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Division told City News Service Thursday morning.
Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched at 8:20 a.m. Wednesday to the 2200 block of Sixth Street, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The man’s body was discovered in the northeast section of the lake. He pronounced dead at the scene.
He later was identified by the medical examiner as Kyle Sherwood.
Reports from the scene suggested Sherwood might have been in a fight and was ultimately pushed into the lake.
