Authorities say two New York City police officers have been shot and wounded.
A New York Police Department spokeswoman says the injured officers have been taken to a Bronx hospital. She has no information on their conditions.
She says the shooting occurred Friday afternoon in the borough’s Parkchester neighborhood.
The circumstances of the shooting are unclear.
