TUSTIN, Calif.—A Tustin High School student was stabbed in a fight Jan. 31 on campus and taken to a hospital in unknown condition.
The fight between two students occurred about 12:15 p.m. on the campus at 1171 El Camino Real, according to Tustin police Lt. Andy Birozy.
One of the boys was taken to a hospital, and the other boy was taken into custody, Birozy said. Officials did not release their ages or names because they are minors, he added.
When officers responded to the fight, school staff had detained one of the students, police said. School officials had students shelter in place, and once the fight was over students were released for the day, police said.
