The air show was canceled at Travis Air Force Base in California on Sunday after a pilot crashed upside down into the ground.

The pilot was flying a bi-plane, reported Twitter user and entrepreneur Scott Kish.

“Unknown status of pilot,” he said from the scene.

The crash started a fire, which was put out.

Emergency crews responded to the situation.
