Tom Arnold fantasized on social media about killing Donald Trump Jr.
Arnold, whose celebration of violence against Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) was recently shared by Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), posted a picture of Trump Jr. on Twitter on Aug. 2.
The picture showed President Donald Trump’s son holding a knife in his left hand and the tail of an elephant in his right, standing near the dead body of an elephant.
“This is Donald Trump Jr. He is holding the tail of a beautiful African elephant he murdered as she got up from a nap. Donald Trump Jr. is the real piece of garbage,” Arnold wrote.
Arnold later added, “Looking forward to the day I’m standing over him wearing my bullet belt & safari khakis, my cartoon sized Daniel Boone buck knife in one hand his his [sic] teeny tiny tail in the other.”
Also on Friday, he wrote: “Don Jr’s NYC apartment has not been robbed yet! Eric Trump’s either! Really bad news!!”
Arnold was replying to a missive sent by President Trump lamenting the recent burglary of the Baltimore home of Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.)
“Really bad news! The Baltimore house of Elijah Cummings was robbed. Too bad!” Trump wrote. Cummings’s house was broken into on July 27, police said this week.
Trump Jr. didn’t appear to respond to the death threat but did hit back after the robbery tweet, writing, “No we just get daily death threats and exploding packages of white powder sent to our homes you piece of garbage.”
Daniel Frisiello, a Massachusetts man, pleaded guilty to sending threatening letters to Trump Jr., Eric Trump, Sen. Debbie Stabenow (D-Mich.), and a slew of others earlier this year.
The letters contained an unknown white substance that proved to be harmless.
“You are an awful, awful person, I am surprised that your father lets you speak on TV,” Frisiello wrote in the letter to Trump Jr. “You make the family idiot, Eric, look smart. This is the reason why people hate you, so you are getting what you deserve. So shut the [expletive] UP!”
Cummings Said He Scared Intruder
After police said this week that Rep. Cummings’s home was burglarized, the lawmaker said that he scared away the intruder.“An individual attempted to gain entry into my residence at approximately 3:40 a.m. on Saturday, July 27. I was notified of the intrusion by my security system, and I scared the intruder away by yelling before the person gained entry into the residential portion of the house,” he said in a statement sent to media outlets.
“I thank the Baltimore Police Department for their response and ask that all further inquiries be directed to them.”
