Junior Rangers Program

This summer, California State Parks is hosting a Junior Ranger Program designed for kids to learn about the beach and earn cool prizes! Nearby will be live music and food for the family to enjoy. Film Screening: Charlotte’s Web

The Huntington Beach Art Center is hosting a film screening this summer. This weekend’s screening is the classic movie Charlotte’s Web. Come and learn how a lonely piglet avoided becoming someone’s dinner with the help of a spider. Seats are limited, guests must have reservations for all members. Dog Beach Cleanups

Huntington Beach’s Dog Beach hosts beach clean-up events on select days in the year to help remove plastic pollution from the marine ecosystem and protect local wildlife. Volunteers are welcome to join local community members in this beach clean-up while enjoying some sunshine. Dog Beach. 100 Goldenwest Street Huntington Beach. Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Free. Sizzlin’ Summer Concert: Boxcar 7

Irvine is bringing back the Sizzlin’ Summer Concert series this summer and providing free, family-friendly music shows to all community members at Mike Ward Community Park. This week Boxcar 7 will bring some blues, soul, old-school R&B, classic rock, swing, and a taste of funk. The concert will be held near Woodbridge for first-come, first-served seating. OC Fair

The OC Fair is back with the theme “Feel the Sunshine!” It features over a hundred food vendors and dozens of rides and carnival games. Watch the rare Alaskan racing pigs compete daily. Falun Dafa Meditation

Join a free meditation exercise workshop on the beach. Falun Dafa, also known as Falun Gong, is an advanced Buddhist self-cultivation practice based on the principles of truthfulness, compassion, and tolerance. Laguna Beach Music in the Park

The City of Laguna Beach’s Music in the Park is a free public concert series held Sunday evenings at Bluebird Park. The summer concert series is featuring Stone Soul this week.
