Science fiction author William Gibson once remarked that the future was already here, just unevenly distributed. What he meant was that the futuristic dreams of the ‘60s, was only off the mark in that the gadgets wouldn’t be available for everybody anytime soon.

By the 21st century, we thought we'd have flying cars. Take heart, there are at least 6 companies determined to come to market in the next few years.
