Stress-Relieving Matcha Green Tea Latte (Recipe + Video)

A matcha latte is a delicious and healthy drink loaded with antioxidants that help to reduce stress and anxiety. This perfect combination of matcha with hot milk is very creamy and pampers the senses.

Matcha Latte

Ingredients:
1 tsp matcha powder
3 tbsp hot water
1 tsp honey
1 cup 2% milk
Directions:
  1. Sift the matcha powder into a small bowl. Add the water and honey to the matcha powder and whisk well.
  2. In a small pot, heat the milk over medium heat, bringing it to a gentle simmer. 
  3. To froth the milk, transfer the milk to a heat-proof measuring cup. Using a handheld milk frother, aerate the milk until it is frothy.
  4. Transfer the matcha mixture into a mug and pour the frothed milk on top.
  5. Serve immediately.

Iced Matcha Latte

1 tsp matcha powder
3 tbsp hot water
1 tsp honey
1/2 cup ice
1 cup 2% milk
Directions:
  1. Sift the matcha powder into a small bowl. Add the water and honey to the matcha powder and whisk well.
  2. Fill a glass with ice and pour the matcha mixture on top. Add the milk and mix well.
  3. Serve immediately.
