SAN FRANCISCO—Logan Webb pitched eight strong innings and extended his scoreless streak to a career-high 19 innings as the San Francisco Giants beat the New York Mets 5–1 on Tuesday night.

Webb (3–1) won his third straight start, striking out four and scattering six hits with just one walk. The 27-year-old right-hander recorded 15 groundball outs.
