With two teams left unbeaten at 4–0, the Kansas City Chiefs and Minnesota Vikings could be on a collision course to the Super Bowl.

The Chiefs are defending champions, and the Vikings already have beaten three teams from last season’s Divisional Round and soundly at that. That said, there are 13 games left for every team in the league, and much can change between now and February.
  1. Kansas City Chiefs (4–0)
Kansas City keeps winning close games, but the uncertainty around wide receiver Rashee Rice’s health could hinder the offense. The Chiefs defense remains solid amid 18 points allowed per game.
  1. Minnesota Vikings (4–0)
Minnesota built a 28–0 lead on the Green Bay Packers and firmly held on, for a 31–29 victory. The Vikings own the best point differential in the league at 57 points, and the defense has only allowed 59 points all season.
  1. Buffalo Bills (3–1)
Buffalo got humbled by the Baltimore Ravens in Week 4, but the Bills have a lot of things clicking on both sides of the ball. The Bills have the second-best point differential in the league at 39.
  1. Detroit Lions (3–1)
Lions quarterback Jared Goff probably won’t go 18–18 again, but Detroit has significant momentum amid back-to-back wins. Detroit’s running game and defense remain hallmarks of a team aiming for an NFC North crown.
  1. Baltimore Ravens (2–2)
Baltimore looked like a force again with a rout of the Bills. The defense shut down Josh Allen and company. Joe Burrow and the Bengals could be next.
  1. Houston Texans (3–1)
Houston bounced back with a tight win against the Jaguars as Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud came up with the game-winning touchdown pass in the final 18 seconds. The Texans will likely need more than last-second heroics to beat the Bills in Week 5.
  1. San Francisco 49ers (2–2)
San Francisco bettered its record with a rout of the Patriots 30–13, but the uncertainties surrounding Christian McCaffrey’s injury remain concerning. The 49ers only have five touchdown passes from quarterback Brock Purdy in four games thus far.
  1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3–1)
The Buccaneers got back on track against the Eagles amid Tom Brady’s return to Raymond James Stadium as a broadcaster. Quarterback Baker Mayfield looks sharp, but he will have to go without star wide receivers Mike Evans and Chris Godwin in Week 5.
  1. Seattle Seahawks (3–1)
Quarterback Geno Smith couldn’t pull off the win in Detroit, but the Seahawks can keep building on a solid start. Running backs Kenneth Walker III and Zach Carbonnet remain a tough one-two punch in the backfield.
  1. Pittsburgh Steelers (3–1)
Pittsburgh came up short against the Colts 27–24, and the defense gave up its most points all season against a team that averages 21.3 points per game. Steelers quarterback Justin Fields remains the starter for now.
  1. Green Bay Packers (2–2)
Green Bay got quarterback Jordan Love back on the field, but he couldn’t lead a comeback against the Vikings. The Packers defense has been solid against the pass but has work to do against the run, allowing 109.3 yards per game.
  1. Philadelphia Eagles (2–2)
Which Eagles team will show up in Week 6 after this weekend’s bye week? The Eagles won two close games and lost once by a point before Week 4’s 33–16 bludgeoning by the Buccaneers.
  1. Washington Commanders (3–1)
Rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels continues to shine amid seven touchdowns overall and just one interception through four games. In addition, Daniels is leading the way for a team that’s giving up 25.5 points per game.
  1. Atlanta Falcons (2–2)
Atlanta continues to impress amid another tight win. The Falcons have a chance to grab the lead in the NFC South in Week 5 against the Buccaneers.
  1. New York Jets (2–2)
Aaron Rodgers couldn’t build on his success from Week 3 in a 10–9 loss against the Denver Broncos. New York’s defense looks as tough as ever, but the Jets get a big test against the Vikings in London next.
  1. New Orleans Saints (2–2)
New Orleans came up short against the Falcons, 26–24, and quarterback Derek Carr went without a touchdown pass for the first time this season. The Saints rushing attack remained strong against the Falcons with 131 yards and three touchdowns.
  1. Los Angeles Chargers (2–2)
The Chargers have safety Derwin James back from a suspension, which could give the defense a boost. On offense, the Chargers need to get quarterback Justin Herbert healthy during the bye week.
  1. Dallas Cowboys (2–2)
Dallas ended the early season slide against the Giants but lost linebacker Micah Parsons in the process. The Cowboys offense, meanwhile, could be hindered without wide receiver Brandin Cooks due to an infection.
  1. Denver Broncos (2–2)
Denver’s defense got the job done against the Jets, and the Broncos boast the third-fewest points allowed in the league. Broncos quarterback Bo Nix, meanwhile, is taking his lumps amid one touchdown versus four interceptions.
  1. Cincinnati Bengals (1–3)
Quarterback Joe Burrow and company avoided 0–4, but the Bengals get a tough test in the Ravens next. Burrow has an otherwise strong start to the season amid 70.9% for pass completions and seven touchdowns versus one pick.
  1. Indianapolis Colts (2–2)
Colts quarterback Joe Flacco saved the day in Week 4. Flacco could repeat in Indianapolis what he did last season in Cleveland when he led the Browns to the playoffs.
  1. Las Vegas Raiders (2–2)
The Raiders are banged up, and wide receiver Davante Adams wants a trade. Otherwise, the Raiders are in the thick of things in the AFC West.
  1. Chicago Bears (2–2)
Bears rookie quarterback Caleb Williams arguably put together his best game as a pro in a win over the Rams. The Bears running game meanwhile has yet to take off amid 3.5 yards per carry.
  1. Cleveland Browns (1–3)
Cleveland’s loss at Las Vegas puts the Browns in a pickle with a slate full of winning teams until a Dec. 29 game against the Dolphins. Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson at least had his best completion rate of the season against the Raiders, and running back Nick Chubb getting healthy could boost the offense.
  1. Los Angeles Rams (1–3)
The Rams remain banged up and struggling amid a latest loss to the Chicago Bears. Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford only has two touchdown passes thus far.
  1. Arizona Cardinals (1–3)
Rookie wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. is exciting fans amid 15 catches for 243 yards and four touchdowns. That said, the Cardinals aren’t finding answers against winning teams with a 0–3 mark against squads at .500 or better.
  1. New York Giants (1–3)
The Giants haven’t found consistent offense yet, and wide receiver Malik Nabers’s concussion is a setback. New York’s pass rush remains one of the best in the league amid 15 sacks for 79 yards lost by opponents.
  1. New England Patriots (1–3)
New England will stick with Jacoby Brissett at quarterback as rookie Drake Maye watches. The Patriots defense, meanwhile, has taken a toll in the past two weeks with 74 points allowed.
  1. Tennessee Titans (1–3)
Tennessee needs answers at quarterback amid Will Levis’ six interceptions, and running back Tony Pollard hasn’t filled the void left by Derrick Henry. The Titans have a bye week to seek improvements after the team’s first win of the season in Week 4 against the Dolphins.
  1. Carolina Panthers (1–3)
Quarterback Andy Dalton couldn’t solve the Panthers’ problems for a second-straight week, and he will have to navigate the Bears defense at Soldier Field next. Carolina’s defense, meanwhile, has struggled mightily amid 32.3 points allowed per game.
  1. Miami Dolphins (1–3)
Things only took a tailspin for the Dolphins in Week 4 amid a 31–12 loss to the Titans. The Dolphins could stop the losing streak against the Patriots, but the loss of quarterback Tua Tagovailoa remains heavy for the Dolphins.
  1. Jacksonville Jaguars (0–4)
Jacksonville owns the dubious distinction as the only winless team in the league. It might continue another week if the Jaguars can’t find an answer against Joe Flacco and the Colts.
