HONG KONG—Three of Shaheen Sports Club hockey players: Ken Tsang, Chris Tso and Windfall Monthong, left Hong Kong for Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia last Thursday (July 30), to train with Kuala Lumpur Hockey Club (KLHC) for 3 weeks.
This is a new agreement with the Malaysia Premier Hockey Club which was confirmed only few days earlier. During this 3 week period, the boys will train under ex-Malaysia National Coach Dharma Raj who is also coach of KLHC.
This is a good development opportunity for the Shaheen youngsters provided by Mr. George Koshy (owner of KLHC) which will allow the boys to join his team training sessions and to watch National League games.
Ahmed Khan of Shaheen Sports Club was very pleased with this new project “Mr. Koshy’s support for Shaheen and the youngsters is really appreciated as is the arrangement for coach Dharma Raj to assist the players during the coming weeks.
“This kind of exchange is valuable to the youngsters and should provide good experience for the boys to help them in their hockey careers” he added
