SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, Calif.—A man was fatally shot in San Juan Capistrano, and an investigation was underway Tuesday, authorities said.
The shooting was reported at about 9:20 p.m. Monday in the 26000 block of Calle San Francisco, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
Jose Luis Ortiz Dejesus, 32, was found dead in his townhouse, sheriff’s Sgt. Scott Steinle said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
No arrests have been reported, according to the sheriff’s department.
