DENVER—Chris and Liz Becze, lawyers, said that they enjoyed Shen Yun Performing Arts very much after seeing the performance at Denver’s Buell Theatre.

Mr. Becze said that he was fascinated by “the flowing outfits” and “how the coordination of people worked together.”

“It was very much in sync and very neat to watch,” he added, noting the ease by which the dancers flowed.

“Sophisticated dance techniques, an orchestra joining instruments from both the East and West, beautiful costumes, and a stunning back drop—this is Shen Yun at first glance,” reads the New York-based company’s website. “But digging deeper, one discovers a sea of traditional Chinese culture.”

As for the costumes, Mr. Becze said that “It was wonderful.”

Every year, four Shen Yun companies travel for about six months, performing in up to 20 countries and in over 100 cities.

“It is definitely very unique, but also captivating, because I definitely wanted to see more,” he concluded.
