Knowing Shen Yun artists would arrive on Jan. 31, dozens of fans dressed up and waited at Gimhae International Airport in Busan, South Korea.

A chorus of “Welcome,” “We love Shen Yun,” and “Thanks for coming,” greeted Shen Yun members, who were presented with flowers.

Fans said they can’t wait to attend the performance, which will be held in Busan, Gumi, and Seoul from Feb. 2 to Feb. 19.

Lee Sang-cheon, a former director of Busan Daecheonri Elementary School, said Shen Yun’s stories convey virtues, including honesty, kindness, endurance, etc.

“A friend told me that the knowledge a child learned from one Shen Yun performance is more than the knowledge they obtained from school in 10 days,” she said. “It’s a must-see for all ages.”

Song Eun-nui, a college student, said she enjoyed Shen Yun because the show delivers rich uplifting and inspiring information.

“Our performance has many contents of traditional culture, which Korean people are familiar with as well. I believe Korean audiences will enjoy our show,” said Shen Yun Principal Dancer Du Zengmei. “We hope our bright and beautiful show can bring people hope in these uncertain times.”
