“One of the things I learned is that this particular production has some of the best dancing and the best costumes and the color,” he praised.
“The messaging is really what I enjoyed. It was a messaging of God, liberty, and independence, and really living in a country where you value individualism and liberty and freedom.”
Now in the free world, the artists have made it their mission to return to the world’s stage—the glory and beauty of China’s 5,000 years of divinely inspired culture.
Amid this fast-paced and tension-filled world, Gov. Anthony thought, “It’s a good time to come here and see some wonderful dancers and the wonderful singers—the orchestra was absolutely phenomenal—and to take a couple of hours out of the day to witness something that is absolutely magical.”
“I very much enjoyed [Shen Yun,] and it’s nice to be in a country where we can celebrate freedom and independence and liberty—that’s what this production is really focused on and I very much appreciate that,” he added.
Last but not least, Gov. Anthony would like to thank all of Shen Yun’s artists “for the countless hours that they must have put in throughout their lives to become the great dancers that they are, and the great talents that they are.”
“They didn’t do this overnight. They put in countless hours to make sure they did this, and I very much appreciate that they would do this for us, and come out and let us see the things that they’ve learned during their years,” he said.
“So, thank you very much to all the dancers and the singers and the orchestra for allowing us to visit with them.”
