PARIS, France—Catherine Taittinger, née de Suarez d'Aulan, is considered champagne royalty: her family owned the champagne house Piper-Heidsieck for decades, and her late husband Claude Taittinger was the president of the famous champagne house of the same name.
The performance “is absolutely breathtaking, it is remarkable, in all aspects of the term! That is, the choreography, the quality of the images, the near perfection in all the movements.”
The spirituality in the show is, according to Mrs. Taittinger, associated with a “quality of vision,” “very moving, very touching.”
“I think it’s a remarkable show,” she said enthusiastically.
“Well, it carries me! Through this show, you are able to reach the soul. It is a show that has a soul,” said Mrs. Taittinger.
“I think what’s important is what was said by the hosts throughout the performance ... Because otherwise, you would probably only see a show, without the voice and without the commentary, you wouldn’t have seen the spiritual aspect in the same way.”
Mrs. Taittinger believes that Shen Yun is “an evolution, which will bring more benevolence, more understanding, more exchange!”
