The sisters agreed that the show was remarkable, and they will definitely be returning to see more.

“The choreography, the dancing—it was so graceful and elegant. The costumes were fantastic. I will definitely go and see it again and many times over,” exclaimed Jennifer.

“Production quality, the special effects combined with thousands of hours of choreography. Just exquisite,” she said.

According to its website, the name ‘Shen Yun” translates directly into “the beauty of divine beings dancing.”

“The singer—her voice was incredible. She had a beautiful voice,” she said. “Also, the other lady playing the two-stringed instrument—it was beautiful, exquisite music. Very relaxing.”

On the other hand, Jane appreciated that Shen Yun is speaking out about human rights and social issues of modern Chinese society.

“It’s just really good. Obviously, the director and the creator of the show wanted to raise huge awareness from those moments. One day, hopefully, the dictatorship will [end].”

If they get a chance to speak with the artists, the sisters would like to tell them never to give up.

“It’s a very elegant, graceful, and remarkable show,” Jennifer expressed.

“Don’t ever give up and stay dancing. More people should [see this.] It should be required entertainment. It was a remarkable thing to watch.”
