“It’s very interesting to see Chinese culture portrayed in a manner of dance. The costumes are absolutely fabulous. The colors are very elegant. ... I’m having as much fun watching the orchestra as well.”

“I think they’re great [the musicians]. I play the piano and have taken lessons in piano and used to be in an orchestra in a band. That’s one of the reasons I’m so interested in watching all the players. They’re all on time. They all watch the conductor when they should. So it seems very good.”

“It is very challenging because they [the musicians] are only having to follow the conductor but the conductor has to follow what’s going on on stage. The choreography has to mesh very well with the music itself. So far I think it’s pretty flawless.”
