“It was beautiful,” said Mr. Haight, a retired systems engineer.
“It was beautiful, very beautiful,” said Mrs. Haight after seeing the performance at the Johnny Mercer Theatre at Savannah Civic Center. “It was just awe-inspiring.”
“The costumes and the precisions were just amazing,” Mrs. Haight said. “Just the beauty of it, and the message, the message was beautiful.”
“Very spiritual. It was beautiful,” Mrs. Haight said.
Mr. Haight said he saw multiple parallels to his own Judeo-Christian culture, such as “different examples of people doing good deeds, and justice triumphing.”
“It’s like when you do good at the end, that’s where everybody kind of ascends to heaven,” Mr. Haight added. “Good triumphs over evil and everybody has erased kind of the original sin and so forth.”
In terms of the artistry of the production, the performers had been “just unbelievable,” Mrs. Haight said.
“It’s very unique. Very unique,” she added. “Like pure beauty.”
Mr. Haight said between the movement and the color, the production came together beautifully.
“The coordination, the colors, and so on. And the dancing was primo. It was excellent,” Mr. Haight said.
