“I lived in Hong Kong for seven years. I’ve taken all my family, starting from my daughter to Shen Yun. So they’re all carrying on the tradition now of exposure to Shen Yun—education of China,” Mr. Moore shared who has seen Shen Yun four or five times with different family members.

Shen Yun is based in New York and its mission is to revive 5,000 years of Chinese civilization. Mr. Moore who is a pilot, has flown over China and knows that China, despite communism, is still a beautiful country.

“The Western world [has] been kept from really seeing the culture that is so much older than ours, that developed out there in China. But it was closed in the world for so many years,” Mr. Moore said.

Shen Yun has eight companies touring the world simultaneously. Mr. Moores believes that seeing Shen Yun one is benefiting from ancient culture.

This time, Mr. Moore brought his granddaughter to see Shen Yun. She shared her wish to meet Shen Yun’s artists. Mr. Moore stated that his hope that Shen Yun will continue with its mission in spreading Chinese culture.

“Please keep this up. We need Shen Yun to keep spreading the culture year after year. I now bring my third generation out here to see Shen Yun,” he said.
