Yves Hedon, deputy director general of municipal services at the City of La Londe-les-Maures, said: “The show is simply wonderful. It’s truly divine, filled with numerous demands. It beautifully combines technical, artistic, and digital elements, along with an absolutely divine orchestra.”
Jean-Charles Lesser, a chief operating officer, said, “It’s marvelous, fantastic, really, really beautiful, exceptional, really with a great story. It’s really very deep and I like it a lot.”
Patrice Ayache, the general secretary of a trade union, said, “Gorgeous. Beautiful. It’s very technical but at the same time, very graceful.”
Mr. Hedon said, “From the very start, we are immersed in the divine and the celestial. The digital projections instantly take us to the sky. It’s simply magnificent, truly. The artists are magnificent, with colors bursting everywhere. There is a majestic grace. Both men and women convey an exceptional sense of emotion.”
“It’s an exhilarating feeling and I let myself be taken in and moved by the beauty and depth of the show, and I didn’t know that I would be so surprised when I came here. And it’s really a great show and a great pleasure to be able to contribute to it, to see and attend this show,” Mr. Lesser said.
“It’s a magnificent show. It’s a show that appeals to the imagination. A very aesthetic show. And you learn a lot about Chinese culture,” Mr. Ayache said.
“The artistic level is nothing short of perfection, showcasing incredible flexibility, exceptional acrobatics, and monumental feminine grace, all set against a stunning and hypnotic backdrop,” Mr. Hedon said.
“I didn’t think there would be all these messages too, and this truly sacred and spiritual side. And as it’s something that really touches me. I’m all the more thrilled and happy to be able to attend this magnificent show,” Mr. Lesser said.
“You can feel this dynamic of benevolence, harmony, and gentleness that comes through very strongly in each scene,” Mr. Ayache said.
“I experienced immense joy and happiness while watching this performance, which transports us into a truly enchanting Chinese tradition. It was genuinely a remarkable experience,” Mr. Hedon said.
“Completely, in this beauty, we feel this benevolence, this authenticity, and this sincerity, and it’s really touching. And there are a lot of poignant messages, which is a real pleasure. I wasn’t expecting it and I’m really very surprised and moved, I can tell you,” Mr. Lesser said.
“Yes, there’s energy and a certain serenity in certain passages. And then you’re carried away. It’s like being in a dream.” Mr. Ayache said.
“There’s a lot of generosity, a lot of love. I can’t think of any other words to describe what I saw, truly,” Mr. Hedon added.
Audience members also highlighted the show’s importance for humanity and the world.
“Sensitivity, generosity, listening. And I think you need to continue along that path because I think it helps the world, humans in general, to be better. And that’s what’s important. So well done and congratulations!” Mr. Hedon said.
“It’s very traditional, it’s true but it’s completely topical and it also brings us closer to the spiritual side, which is really essential and all the more important with all the values being promoted in a world that is increasingly individualistic and also increasingly malevolent,” Mr. Lesser said.
“It’s important that a show like this exists and conveys throughout the world these values of humanity and spirituality that are missing from our century and that are very important for each of us to rediscover a little of that divine part in us, and that solidarity, peace, and benevolence that we are so lacking at the moment,” Mr. Ayache said.
