SAN FRANCISCO—Shen Yun Performing Arts performed for a full house at the SHN Orpheum Theatre on Friday, March 22. Among those in the audience were Mr. and Mrs. Vinhaus.
“I thought it was wonderful. I thought it was just wonderful. I enjoyed every minute of it,” said Mrs. Vinhaus, who owns a restaurant together with her husband in the town of Byron.
Mrs. Vinhaus said that the show was recommended to them by friends. She says the performance beat her expectations, saying she liked every piece of the performance.
New York-based Shen Yun Performing Arts has the mission to revive 5,000 years of traditional Chinese culture.
Mrs. Vinhaus says she liked in particular the piece in the performance where the performers use long sleeves in the dance. “They looked beautiful. I wish I could do that,” she said.
Mr. Vinhaus says he thought the performance was “very good,” and says he would come back to see the show again.
He says that he and Mrs. Vinhaus frequently saw performances, but that Shen Yun “is different than all of them.”
Mrs. Vinhaus says she would recommend the performance to her friends.
“I would say anybody should come and see it if they have a chance.”
